Sonoma County to host June 12 public meeting on Airport Area Specific Plan update
SANTA ROSA, CA | June 02, 2025
Permit Sonoma will host a scoping meeting for the Airport Area Specific Plan update environmental impact report on June 12 to solicit public feedback on the scope of the proposed environmental review. The Airport Area Specific Plan addresses land use, circulation, design standards and infrastructure planning to guide the growth within the area around the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport.
The EIR will address the environmental impacts associated with the adoption and implementation of the specific plan. The County of Sonoma will serve as lead agency in the preparation of the EIR. The proposed specific plan will update the existing 1984 Sonoma County Airport Industrial Area Specific Plan, as amended.
The scoping meeting and comment period are opportunities to provide comment on the scope and content of the draft EIR.
